ARC Diagnostic Core Singapore Meeting 2025
The ARC Network is making significant strides, with Phase 1 Biomarker Discovery results coming in, Cycle 1 Site Recruitment wrapping up, and the ARC Incubator producing outputs. Preparations for the Network-Wide meeting in Brisbane (June 6, 2025) are underway.
Recently, the ARC Diagnostic Core held a successful meeting in Singapore (March 2025), adjudicating 280 cases, bringing Cycle 1 adjudication to 93% completion. They refined diagnostic criteria and ended recruitment for most categories, now focusing on superficial GAS cases. The team worked efficiently, tackling weeks of work in just a few days. A special thanks to Craig for leading an echo-focused session remotely!
In addition, the Network reviewed Phase 1 Biomarker Discovery results and discussed Phase 2 proposals. Key insights and questions emerged, and decisions were made on how to balance scientific goals with project constraints. The results will be shared at the Brisbane meeting.
The group also strategized long-term plans, including the formation of an ARC Translational Working Group to develop a Rheumatic Fever Point of Care Test. They brainstormed future projects, grants, and ways to enhance member engagement. The full agenda for the Brisbane meeting will be shared soon.
The team also enjoyed exploring Singapore's culture, including seafood and historic neighborhoods. Thanks to everyone who participated in Singapore, setting the stage for another successful year. We look forward to gathering more Network members in Brisbane for a productive meeting.
